Roni & Cassi truly had the best of both worlds when it came to their Santa Cruz maternity photoshoot. When we were planning and coming up with ideas for this shoot, we went back and forth a lot. Ultimately we decided Santa Cruz was where they felt like they’re love really blossomed. Plus they named their baby boy Cruz, so it was extra special. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the cutest and most fun little place to have a photoshoot and I’m so obsessed with how these photos turned out. We added fun blue cotton candy to commemorate their baby boy that would soon be joining the fam!
Cassi and Roni really wanted a romantic, artsy, cliffside golden hour shoot as well so… we did both 😍 There are no rules when it comes to your photos. If you want silly date night photos at the boardwalk and golden hour cliff photos… do it!
We headed to the beach right before sunset and as the sun went down we busted out the lanterns which made the vibe so moody and dreamy. Roni and Cassi are truly the best and their love just shines throughout these photos. Photos you can FEEL. This photoshoot is from awhile back so little baby Cruz is already a toddler, but they are absolutely killing it as mamas! The love, kindness, and compassion they show each other is so evident. Damn, parenting looks so dang good on them. Cruz is so lucky to have such badass moms!
