Olivia and James had a romantic, beautiful, meaningful, perfect wedding day at The Virgil.

It can truly be as simple as that.

Olivia & James planned their wedding last minute. They dealt with visa issues and waited 19 months for their visa to get married. They couldn’t wait a second longer, and planned their wedding in less than two months. It was simple & more than perfect.

They didn’t spend a million dollars on florals or decorations. We ate tacos for dinner. They exchanged beautiful vows. And they celebrated with a few of their favorite humans.

This wedding venue almost seems like a hidden gem in Reno. The Virgil is so stunning, and one of my absolute favorites. When Olivia and James said they were having their wedding here, I was stoked. The light and airy-ness of it all is just stunning. You don’t need to add much to it for it to be beautiful.

It was the perfect reminder that it’s okay to have a simple day focused around your love. It’s okay to do your own hair & makeup. It’s okay to enjoy the process of planning a wedding and not stress out over table decorations, an arch, or any of the crazy bells & whistles.

We snuck away to a nearby rooftop for some editorial vibe wedding photos. It was cold and windy, but O & J were shining brighter than the golden hour glow.
