I have the pleasure of calling these two some of my closest friends. So capturing their boho Arizona wedding hit a little different than normal!
Sarah is also a wedding photographer, and we actually met a few years ago during a photoshoot before she was engaged to Jarrod. Right off the bat I knew we would get along, so we planned the shoot as a camping trip and jumped head first into our friendship. And I’m forever thankful that we did!
I knew these two would break a lot of the traditional rules and expectations with their wedding, and I’m so fucking proud of them for the way they lived their best lives on their wedding day. They exchanged private vows, because reciting them publicly wasn’t their jam. Sarah walked herself down the aisle to their sweet ceremony in a little Elvis Memorial chapel in Apache Junction, Arizona. They forgot the rings during their ceremony and laughed their asses off about it. There is truly nothing better than making light of an unexpected situation, and these two are the king & queen of that.
At their reception they had donkeys serving beer, they danced their little hearts out, and ended their wedding day by jumping into a pool in their wedding wears!
Is it dramatic to say that someone else’s wedding was the time of my life? Because this weekend truly was one of my all time favorite core memories. Every second was so unique and just oozing with fun.
Congrats you two! Love you so big and I’m so honored to call you some of my best friends!
