A Samara Farm Wedding Day | Tori & Jarrett

There are some weddings that just make you feel warm and fuzzy, and Tori & Jarrett’s Samara Farm wedding was one of those days that remind me exactly why I do what I do. A wedding that felt like it was wrapped in a big hug. Like the earth stopped just for the two of them.

I still remember when Tori slid into my DMs back in 2020, when I was only a couple years into this business. She told me, “Omg I just love your work so much and your personality. Whenever I get engaged one day, I’m gonna hire you for my wedding.”
Now, I’ve had people say that before (and it always means the world), but sometimes life happens, people lose touch, and it doesn’t pan out. But Tori? She actually did it. And that alone makes me want to cry happy tears into my camera bag. So surreal.

A True Forest Wedding Vibe

Samara Farm was the cutest little venue—a total hidden gem with those true forest wedding vibes. Think open chapel ceremony tucked in the trees, cozy forest feel, and that earthy Washington summer magic. It was the perfect backdrop for their DIY-inspired day, full of heart and intention.

But the real kicker was the first look spot. Tori & Jarrett picked the most meaningful spot for their first look—the exact place where Jarrett proposed a year earlier. Right on the river, surrounded by that lush Washington greenery. It was sentimental, personal, and honestly badass to see them come full circle in that exact spot.

Tori & Jarrett’s wedding wasn’t about flashy trends—it was about them.

They tied the knot on their dating anniversary, included their sweet pup Oliver (the best boy who totally stole the show), and built the day around the community that has loved and supported them since day one.

One of my favorite parts of this day was the way it ended. Because let’s be real: nothing says “we’re throwing a party” quite like tacos and s’mores by the fire. As the sun went down, everyone gathered around with gooey marshmallows, laughter, and that campfire warmth that makes you want to stay forever. It was simple, it was heartfelt, and it was unforgettable.

Tori & Jarrett’s Samara Farm wedding was more than just pretty details (though the details were chef’s kiss). It was about intention, history, community, and love that runs deep. It was the kind of day that gives you fuzzy feelings. Makes you feel lucky to witness it. And reminds you that weddings don’t have to follow anyone’s rules but your own.

Tori, you said back in 2020 that I’d be your wedding photographer one day, and damn, I’m so glad you kept that promise. It was an honor greater than I can ever explain. 🖤

I fucking love what I do, and I do it with my whole heart and soul.

My couples are my family. I do not take it lightly that you are entrusting me to capture the biggest day of your life, so in return, I will protect you, serve you, and give you my best self. I will capture your memories and tell your story as honestly and authentically as possible. I pinch myself every day to make sure this is really my job. I fucking love what I do, and I do it with my whole heart and soul.

I"M SO READY TO THIS THING >
