Sometimes the best things in life really are the most unexpected — like this impromptu photoshoot in the English countryside with the cutest couple I met completely by chance on my first night in London. Serendipitous to the max!!

I was sitting at a cozy little restaurant with my mom, soaking in the city vibes and easing into our trip, when we started chatting with the sweetest couple next to us. You know when you instantly vibe with someone? That was them. We laughed, swapped travel stories, and somewhere between dinner and dessert, I just had to ask if I could take some photos of them. And just like that, a plan was born.

Fast forward two days + a long drive through England to the countryside, and we were meeting up in the dreamy Cotswolds — a total fairytale place. I only had my 35mm film camera and a small travel camera on me, but we made magic with what we had. We ran around the roadside for maybe 20 minutes, chasing light and letting the landscape guide us. It was carefree, totally unplanned, and so much dang fun.

There’s something incredibly special about documenting people in a place like that — quiet, raw, and full of character. The English countryside was the perfect stage for their easy + connected kind of love, and I’m still swooning over the artsy, romantic moments we captured. These photos feel like the kind that you print out and look back on in 40 years with your family. The photos that you’ll be remembered by.

This shoot was a beautiful reminder that you don’t always need a plan or the perfect gear. Sometimes, all it takes is good vibes and a little spontaneity to create a vibey English countryside couples photoshoot.
