Santa Cruz Maternity Shoot | Audrey & Luke

Two of my favorite people are entering this next chapter in life, so we celebrated by running around Santa Cruz for their maternity photoshoot. Audrey & Luke are full of light, adventure, love, and excitement as they wait for their little babe to enter into this world. ✨

This maternity shoot truly had it all. We had a forest fairy moment, cliffside views at golden hour, running on the beach during sunset… it doesn’t get better. With 3 dreamy outfit changes, Audrey was showing up and showing out. The jean vest with her belly peeking out? Immediately add it to my Pinterest board. And even more special, it belonged to her late mother, who was such a shining light in this world. Watching her light shine on through Audrey, and soon their baby daughter, is truly magical to witness.

When we were planning this adventurous maternity shoot, I knew we had to sprinkle in some 35mm film photos. They just make the gallery feel more nostalgic and dreamy, in a way digital photography can’t quite recreate. Sign me up for film. Every. Damn. Time.

When I say that capturing these life moments should be fun and effortless, I truly mean it. Documenting the big & little chapters of life, will be the greatest heirloom we have to cherish.

Audrey and Luke are going to absolutely crush the parenting game. These amazing humans bringing another human into the world is 100% going to change the world for the better, and I couldn’t be more excited for them!
