Micaela & Alex – I’m speechless. This Paséa Hotel wedding was insane. I don’t even know where to start! Their vision for this wedding was 100/10 and more.
These two filled their day with raw emotion, classic meets modern details, and the BIGGEST love. I could photograph this day over and over. A Huntington Beach wedding that will never leave my mind. Waking up to a thick layer of fog hanging over the coast, I knew the day would have a magical vibe. The universe knew this day needed something a little more unique than one of those classic Southern California sunny days. It was soft & ethereal with a mist that hugged the coastline. It was moody but so dang happy.
It was like Huntington Beach had decided to give us our own little dreamy filter.
The ceremony setup on Paséa’s gorgeous ocean-view terrace was unreal in the mist, with the soft whites of florals and palm trees that popped against the muted background. As Micaela walked down the aisle, the fog seemed to wrap around her like a veil, making every step feel like something out of a fairytale. No harsh sun, no squinting guests, just a calm & moody scene that made everything feel so intimate. And Alex’s tears over seeing is person walk towards him to promise forever? CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE.
When I tell you that this was dreamy… it was DREAMY. The weather, the location, the florals, the checkered details, the supportive friends & family, the dance party – every last drop. A mix of elegant and modern with pops of Micaela and Alex’s personality. I am over the moon with how these photos turned out, and beyond honored to have created an art these two + their core humans will reminisce with for the rest of their lives.
