Danielle and Gabe’s wedding at The HideOut in Kirkwood was straight out of a storybook. Nestled deep in the Sierra Nevada mountains, this venue is an absolute hidden gem — think lush forests, sprawling meadows, a pond reflecting the trees, and a rustic-chic lodge that feels both intimate and grand.
We had a little bit of surprise summer rain, but that didn’t dampen the day one bit — in fact, it added a sense of romance to everything. The vibrant florals, bursting with rich pinks, deep reds, and lush greens, popped even more against the moody backdrop. It was like nature was working its magic for their big moments!
You could feel the love in every word they spoke and every look they gave. The clouds eventually cleared, and we all gathered in the lodge for a celebration that was as cozy as it was full of energy.
Their wedding wasn’t just a day to remember — it was an experience. Full of love, nature, and a little bit of weather-made magic. I’m still smiling just thinking about it. This beautiful August day will stay on my mind rent-free for a looooooong long time.
