Shasta and Blake’s outdoor Auburn, CA wedding (right outside of Lake Tahoe) was inspiring and beautiful. Each moment from the getting ready photos to the reception was thought out and intentional.
These two share a love so fierce, that it was so evident in every single person around them. From all the tears shed down the aisle to the sweetest first looks with their parents, it was evident that the people surrounding these two feel & support this special love down to their bones.
My favorite moment from this day? Shasta & Blake’s first touch & private vows.
They wanted the intimacy of a private moment together before their ceremony. BUT they also dreamed of the magic of seeing each other down the aisle for the first time. So including a first touch with private vows, but waiting to see each other until their aisle walk, delivered alllllll the feels. Absolutely the best of both worlds. In an era where seeing each other before your wedding ceremony is becoming so common, I am beyond proud that these two stuck to their guns and planned their day in the way that felt most genuine to them.
After an emotional ceremony we all gathered under the glow of twinkle lights on Blake’s family propoerty and celebrated. AND DANCED. Oh boy, did we dance haha. The party was off the hook, the photo booth was poppin’, the drinks slangin’. It was insane – in the best way. The night never wanting to end and going all too quickly. This outdoor California wedding was one to remember forever. Just so dang obsessed with Shasta & Blake’s love, and the precious moments from this day will live rent-free in my brain forever. ✨
