Let me tell you, when Jake and Ashley rolled up to their fall engagement photoshoot with not one, but TWO corgis in tow, I knew we were about to have the absolute best time. If there’s one thing that can up-level a wildly-in-love couple, it’s a pair of potatoes running through a field. Spoiler alert: these pups stole the show— and my heart. I love Tater Tot and Waffles so much it hurts. (Cutest names ever???!!!)
We kicked things off at this gorgeous open field with the dreamiest golden-hour lighting. Jake and Ashley were absolute naturals in front of the camera. They’re actually some of the goofiest people and I absolutely LOVED it. We didn’t stop laughing the entire time… and of course I had to capture the silliness as well as the romance.
And the corgis? Oh, they were working the lens like seasoned models. I seriously couldn’t stop screaming “CUTE!” at my computer while editing these photos. They’re TOO MUCH.
We wrapped things up under the pine trees with a few lanterns. We took some fun forest photos while the sun was setting and it was the perfect blend of romance, silliness, and pure joy.
Jake and Ashley – thank you for trusting me with your once in a lifetime memories AND for letting me meet (and crazily obsess over) your fur babies. This shoot was unforgettable, and I can’t wait to see what kind of fun your wedding day brings!
