Sydney & Brian’s modern dream wedding at The Club at ArrowCreek was ICONIC to say the least.
They had the party of a lifetime. A party that set the bar HIGH.
But the coolest part wasn’t the endless spicy margs, the hyphy dance floor, the delicious food, the sparkly lights, or any of the bells & whistles. The best part was how much time they spent with each other on their own wedding night. They absolutely lived their best lives.
It sounds crazy, but one of the hardest things to do on your wedding day is spend time with each other. Having all of your core humans in one space at one time is special beyond measure. But it’s so easy to get caught up with everyone, and forget that this is the first day of your marriage. It’s about you two. So seeing these two actually enjoy each other + dance together + have silly moments to create lifetime memories was EVERYTHING.
Added bonus that made this wedding even more special, is that I knew Sydney & Brian personally before their wedding. We have mutual friends together and went to the gym together, which felt like such a leg up on capturing their big day in a natural candid way.
It proved that that when you’re comfortable with your photographer and videographer before your wedding day, it makes a world of difference in how natural and candid your photos turn out.
Going into the wedding day I knew all the little things they did and did not want. The important details, the vibe they wanted, etc.
So my pro-tip of the day, is if you hire someone new to capture your wedding, make sure you meet them and get to know them as much as possible before the wedding day! Whether you meet for coffee or chat on Facetime, or even sends memes to each other on instagram. A little bit of relationship goes a loooong way with feeling comfortable on your wedding day.
Sydney & Brian are the absolute coolest and their Club at ArrowCreek wedding is one I’ll cherish forever!
